Another Vacation Bible School down!
This year's theme, the story line was stretched all week and the kids really enjoyed themselves.
This year's theme, the story line was stretched all week and the kids really enjoyed themselves.
David's parent's watched David's sisters girls this week while she played den mother at cub scout camp, and these were the tribe names for all 5 kids.
Each year the kids have a 'friendly' competition on who brings more money, the girls or the boys. Usually the pennies, nickles, dimes, quarters and bills are weighed to declare a winner each day. This year's concept I thought was very creative! The kids were able to exchange their finds for different sized lego pieces. Those pieces were then put into the bucket and then pyramids were constructed to determine the winner. The girls won 4 days and the boys won 1 day. These pyramid pictures were taken on Tuesday and I was impressed on how big they were. All funds raised goes to the Arkansas Baptist Children's Homes.
