The hardest part of the games this time around is that the games are played during the day and games are only viewed a little bit before getting to work each morning. However, when Saturday rolls around games are watched from beginning to end. Even when that means setting the alarm for 6:30 to turn the tv on to begin watching a match! Now that's dedication I tell ya!! Brackets are filled out and projected winners have been chosen, so we shall see who has the upper hand on the picks! In the past 8 days of games there has only been one huge upset which was Switzerland beating Spain! The worst called games were Friday, June 18th : Germany Vs. Serbia : Slovenia vs. United States : England vs. Algeria. In today's game Ghana vs. Australia one of Ghana's men (Paintsil) was injured when he attempted to head the ball and his head collided with one of Australia's players, bloodied and obviously in pain he was taken off the field in stretcher and eventually to the locker room. I hope he can play in Wednesday's game against Germany!!
Cameroon and Denmark are playing as this is written, score it tied and rooting that Cameroon wins this game and their next against Netherlands. I know it sounds like a long shot, but its more of wanting to see the 'underdog' upset the favorite.
