Abby and Zach spent on and off time at David's parents, swimming, relaxing and preparing for our upcoming trip.
Madelynne spent her mornings at Volleyball camp and some of her evenings at soccer practice.
Friday night was KNO (kids night out) at church and of course the three younger ones were sent off to that for an evening of no children. So the church instructed all the parents to make sure that all kids were wearing black pants or shorts for the evening because they going to have them dress up as cows. The reason? Well apparently if the kids dressed up they got free food. So that's what they did!!
So last night a decision was made to take the kids to Murphy's to get Icee's. They have been running a special, ANY size for $1, I mean hey, what's better than one of those on a hot day? While there it appeared as though there was going to be a gas shortage so we did what everyone else was doing, filled up the bullet even though it had half a tank! I mean you couldn't beat $2.37, considering that most places are at $2.45 or higher. Afterwords we did what every NORMAL family does (NOT) and went into Walmart to look for a few things. 3 swimming suits, 7 pairs of flip flops and $35 later we were outta there and finally on our way home.
Today we have been working on the house and laundry preparing for our adventurous trip that begins this week. While doing so we watched the final game of the World Cup between Spain and the Netherlands. I don't think I have ever heard the kids so vocal about any game. Although we were disappointed that Spain defeated Netherlands 1-0 it wasn't too bad of a game!
And if this wasn't all to happen today, Zach lost yet ANOTHER tooth!

Ahh - that a girl! I had no idea she was into sports now that she's nearing middle school . Volleyball is one of my favorites! :)
