Still Undiagnosed ... :-(

Sigh ......

So, I went back to the neurologist today for my follow-up appointment to receive the results from all of the tests that were done. I will give this Dr one thing, he is VERY thorough! HOWEVER, I am still in a black hole as to what caused my illness 8 nearing 9 weeks ago, but we MIGHT be getting closer to a reason why my headaches have lingered. So I have been told to sleep on my stomach (not as easy as it sounds), drink PLENTY of fluids (I'm trying, insert bathroom sarcasm comment here) and increase my salt intake (like my feet don't stay swollen enough), but I'm gonna try!!

The ANA panel came back mildly positive which can lead to multiple somethings. So NOW I get the pleasure of seeing a rheumatoid specialist, after answering another series of questions where I answered mostly no but with a few yes's. What does that mean? Well it means that I still don't have a sure fire diagnosis.

So I have to go back to see the neurologist in 6 weeks and have to wait to see when my appointment is for the rheumatoid specialist. I have been told we can go on vacation but there is no guarantee that I can drive, that is something that I have to gradually work back into over the next 4 weeks. BUT there are several things it could or could NOT be!!

All that aside, I get positive comments from my co-workers (which I appreciate so much) that I am looking and moving around better. I feel better than I have the past 8-9 weeks, but some days are better than others. I'm still living with a headache, which is worse in the heat, most times the headaches causes nausea so I am careful about how much I eat. I get light headed when I bend over or squat. So I have to been instructed to take it easy if I have to do that. Which is difficult for me, if you know me especially at work, I am usually under a table or desk working on a computer, network cables and connections so having someone else doing that kills me, but I am VERY thankful that I have understanding co-workers, supervisor and director!

Onto progressively getting better!!
