Happy 65th!!
Today my father turned 65 years young. I don't get to see him often and I hate that I live so far from him, but life just has it in the books that way. I am thankful that my step-mom, his loving wife keeps him in line :) she is an incredible woman. She has to be in order to keep him in line.
I am one of 3 children, I am the baby, I have an older sister and an older brother; and I also have two step-sisters (ok, I really hate the word step in front of mother and sister, so I'm not gonna use it. I mean come on, a walking sister or walking mother, I don't think so). Our new sisters are fortunate to live close to our parents, they see them more often than the 3 of us kiddos do. Today, Leah, one of my new sisters, got to see dad for his BIG 65th birthday. She said she hobbled in on a cane for him, wish I had video to show, we love pickin on dad. Thank goodness he is a good sport.
Dad taught us many things growing up, I just wish I had listened to him more!
