July 4th & 5th - combination

Saturday

9:15 – breakfast
11:45 – leave for the Ranch
1:30-10 – food, fun, fireworks and fellowship at the Ranch
10 – leave the Ranch to head home
10-11 – drive from Ft. Worth to Rockwall (the fireworks show was the best we have ever seen – fireworks from all the surrounding cities and communities)
Sunday
2 am – Texarkana (the last of the fireworks showings)
( Dave drove home – he was a trooper!!)
2:45 – Arkadelphia and the rains began
3:30 – home and dropped off luggage and items
3:50 – arrive at the Dem-Gaz warehouse
4:30-6:15 – we helped David with the paper route (as much as we could)
6:30 – 1 – ALL SLEPT
1:30-2:30 – breakfast for all at Denny’s (they earned it, being troopers for the trip and the newspaper route!)
2:30-7ish – napped, slept, and watched the inside of our eyelids (pick a description of sleep, that’s what we did)
7ish to 11 – rested, watched movies, chilled out and then went back to bed.

Ok so I have to tell this story. We were so tired that we decided to skip breakfast at 6 a.m. and sleep for a while before going to the Waffle House to eat. So I FINALLY wake up around 12:30 p.m. I HAVE to wake everyone up, all SOUND asleep. We finally leave for the Waffle House around 1 and we're driging by and it is packed from wall to wall.....soooo we end up at Denny's. We get on the subject of 'what are we doing Monday'...so we send Madelynne and Nate out to the vehicle to get the maps, by this time it is POURING down rain....they come back in and Nate ATTEMPTS to sit in Madelynne's seat and she pulls the chair out from under him and he hits the floor. Madelynne then receives applause from several of the neighboring tables!! YES, APPLAUSE!! We all broke out in laughter! It was a good day!
