1:30 – leave Benton for Texas
7:15 – arrive in Allen
7:45 – dogs groomed
8:30 – leave for Afrah’s to pick up dinner
10 – back at Gen’s to eat dinner
11:30 – finally bedtime

So after feeling like crap for days we had been debating on whether or not we would go anywhere for the holiday. After getting medicine in me, I finally told David that I thought I could make the trip to Allen only if we had a place to stay that would be quiet. Our good friend Gen took us in and we had a great holiday weekend with her, her kids and her family. It was a fast yet relaxing weekend.

When we arrived the first thing that Gen and I did was start clipping Millie's hair. She now looks like a normal pooch - look at pictures from Saturday and Sunday to see her.

Then oh it was time for food....oh been craving Afrah's for months since we were there in March. So David and I left for Afrah's to pick up dinner. If you've never been, I HIGHLY suggest this place. FANTASTIC food!!

I had video of the kids sining and being silly kids on the way to Texas, but can't get them uploaded right now. Maybe later.......
