Graduation Day!

So it was February 2006 and after a series of conversations with my husband I bit the bullet and went back to school. So after 3 years of hard work and determination I finally walked at graduation this past Saturday in Little Rock at the State House Convention Center from the University of Phoenix - Little Rock campus. The conversations are interesting, my degree, well it is a BSIT, that alone raises eyebrows and gets thoughts moving, LOL!!

So at graduation, they grouped up by degrees and told us, you don't have to be in any type of alpha order in your degree group. Well that was easy for me, because out of the 10 people that graduated from my degree group I was the ONLY one that walked. Yes, let me say that again, I was the ONLY one that walked. That wasn't so bad though, what was - well was the fact that I was the VERY, yes VERY last person to walk across the stage. Why? Well, my degree group was the LAST to walk, and since I was the ONLY person in my group, I therefore was the LAST person to walk across the stage. Me, myself and that poor piece of gum that I was killing in my mouth. Note to self - when I walk again (yes, when I walk again) - there will be NO gum in my mouth!

So happy - they saved the best for last!!

My financial aide counselor, Mary Ann, myself and my neice, M. Mary Ann was and is fantastic! She's not done with me yet!

Myself and Dr. Sullivan. She is a fantastic person, she was always there when I needed her.

My older sis, Eunice!

Talking with the family before the ceremony!!
So I must be a gluten for punishement, because Monday I signed up for the Masters program at school. One more year and then we'll see what's next!!
