Ok, it’s been over a week since we’ve posted an
update on Graydon and from the texting, emailing, private messaging and phone
calls, I think it’s time for an update. So here it goes …..
Since the 12th ….
2. His ultrasound on his kidneys came back good.
3. On the 13th they had stopped his Lasix drip only to restart it on the 16th.
4. On the 15th they lowered his BP meds and they decreased them again on the 18th. So they are slowly weaning him off the meds.
Although we take to good days with the bad, it’s
still incredibly difficult. The doctors are being cautiously optimistic, but
that is because of the good and bad days. Please keep in mind they are
doing everything they can for him but are doing it slowly and with caution so
that there are fewer bad days.
The visits, treats and gifts have been a joy to
receive. Graydon has more enthusiasm with each visit and appreciates each one.
The initial shock of the whole situation has
worn off at our home and we have peace knowing that the doctors are doing
everything they can for him and that he is ready if the Lord calls him home. Please
continue to pray for our families but especially for Graydon and Betty.
….
And Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all
your soul and with all your mind…. – Matthew 22:37
Peace
I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. – John 14:27
